Information for invited speakers

2. The tentative program (updated):

March 2nd

13:00– The meeting will start. Keynote and plenary talks
19:00– Welcome reception (every participants)

March 3rd
9:00–19:00 Plenary sessions

March 4th
9:00–12:30 Plenary sessions
Afternoon Excursion (or free time) We will plan a short bus trip in Kyoto.
Reservation and payment required. We will let you know the details shortly.

March 5th
9:00–17:00 Plenary sessions
19:00– Banquet at the Karasuma Kyoto Hotel (Invited speakers and participants who paid for the ticket)

3.Your accommodation in Kyoto. We have reserved a single room at the Karasuma Kyoto Hotel for each speaker to stay from March 1st to 6th (five nights). Breakfast included. The cost will be covered by the meeting. You can take a convenient subway to the venue (perhaps an additional ~5 min walk needed).

If you would like to extend your stay or change the type of your room, you can do so by contacting our travel agent "GT Center". Please pay the additional cost to them in this case.


4.Flight booking. "GT Center" is now contacting you to arrange the flight. We support the travel by providing a subsidy only if the booking is through the GT center. Please pay the rest of the cost to them. This is to reduce the amount of paperwork, avoid unnecessary taxes (20%) and bringing cash to the meeting venue. I hope this sounds reasonable to you.
